Kevin Gootee’s nose for news:

Oh no. They’re doing a reboot of the fantastic film, The Raid. Ugh. The original director Gareth Evans is being joined by…Michael Bay. Welp, there’s the ol kiss of death. A) The original was great, no need to reboot. B) Michael Bay’s batting average is worse than Alex Rodriguez in the 2010-2012 playoffs. Hint, he didn’t hit higher than .200.

Kevin Israel’s nose for news:

Screenrant this week reported that Indiana Jones 5 has four weeks left of filming. I’d imagine at 79, Harrison Ford needed a lot of  breaks and naps. Look, I love Indiana Jones and the first three movies were all classics, but we saw in Crystal Skull that, beyond a terrible screenplay, a 65 year old Harrison had lost a few steps. Now, 14 years after that, I can’t imagine how they’re going to pull this one off. Sometimes you just have to hang up your bull-whip and fedora and face the John Williams music
